What is Visual Basic Editor (VBE)?

Visual Basic Editor (VBE) is the interface used to write Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

Here are the steps to launch VBE in Excel:

1. Launch Excel.



2. Press ALT Key and Function 11 (F11) at the same time. Then the VBE interface will appear as shown below. This interface is the development environment of Visual Basic for Application (VBA).

The following is another way to launch VBE:

1. In Excel Version 2003, from the Main Menu bar, click on View, select Toolbars and then select Visual Basic.



2. Click Visual Basic Editor icon from the Visual Basic Toolbar as shown below.
